The architectural practice of Robert Lee Architects Pty Ltd was established in 1957 by Robert Frederick Lee (ASTC FRAIA). It has been located at Hurstville since commencement and has functioned on the basis of providing a personal service. The practice was incorporated in 1987.

The current Principal of the practice is Russell Lee. All work is undertaken under his direct control and full involvement, he will liaise closely with the client and other parties during the progress of a project. Russell has extensive experience working as a part of architectural offices in both the private and public sectors.

The practice specialises in the design, documentation and project management of commercial, industrial and residential buildings.  Russell also undertakes work related to heritage conservation as he has a qualification in heritage conservation and is listed by the NSW Heritage Council to act as a heritage consultant.
